SAVING THE PLANET, ONE BREATH AT A TIME

BY 2028, WE ENVISION VAST WAREHOUSES AND OPEN SPACES ADORNED WITH OUR CUTTING-EDGE LARGE-SCALE BIOREACTORS. THESE INGENIOUS BIOREACTORS SERVE AS THE VANGUARD AGAINST RISING CARBON LEVELS, HARNESSING THE POWER OF NATURE TO ABSORB AND CONVERT CARBON DIOXIDE INTO VALUABLE RESOURCES. WITH OUR UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION, WE ARE DEDICATED TO CREATING A NETWORK OF THESE BIOREACTORS THAT WILL SIGNIFICANTLY CONTRIBUTE TO MITIGATING CLIMATE CHANGE.

The call-to-action and our solution

Despite well-publicised intentions, countries are struggling to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, in particular carbon dioxide, and our planet continues to warm. Scientists agree that every fraction of a degree that Earth’s temperature gains makes an impact. Already the climate is changing faster than humans, plants and animals can adapt.

At SO-G Technology, we’re taking carbon capture to the next level, by developing state of the art carbon sequestration technology at a practical and deployable scale.

“Fossil fuel emissions are already causing climate chaos which is devastating lives and livelihoods, and we’re on course for far worse.”

António Guterres Secretary General, UN, November 2023

“We are the first generation to feel the effect of climate change and the last generation who can do something about it.”

Barack Obama, former US president.

Our Bio-Reactor (PBR)

SO-G TECH proudly presents its core product, meticulously engineered to address carbon capture needs. PBR: Our flagship product, the large bio-reactor, features a honeycomb structure comprising 374 cells. Occupying a footprint of 3m2, this commercial-grade device boasts the highest absorption rate among our offerings, capturing approximately 191 tonnes of carbon annually. Designed for large-scale applications, it represents a significant step towards mitigating carbon emissions on a grand scale.

SO-G Tech: Pioneering Algae-Based Carbon Capture

At SO-G Tech, we harness the power of algae to combat climate change. Our cutting-edge carbon capture technology absorbs CO₂ directly from the air through natural algae sequestration. This sustainable process not only reduces atmospheric carbon but also transforms the captured CO₂ into valuable by-products, including sought-after carbon credits, eco-friendly fertilizers, biodegradable plastics, and renewable bio-fuels. By turning emissions into opportunity, we’re driving a cleaner, greener future—one algae cell at a time.

Our Carbon Reduction Solution

Carbon sequestration captures and stores atmospheric CO₂ to mitigate climate change. It occurs naturally in forests, oceans, and soils but can also be enhanced through technology.

Biological sequestration occurs when plants, trees, and marine organisms absorb CO₂ through photosynthesis. Geological sequestration involves storing CO₂ underground in rock formations and aquifers. Oceanic sequestration happens as the ocean absorbs CO₂, with some technologies designed to enhance this process. Industrial and technological sequestration utilises carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies to re-purpose CO₂ for fuel or construction materials.

Carbon sequestration reduces CO₂ levels, helping to slow climate change. It also improves soil fertility and biodiversity while creating economic opportunities in sustainable industries.

Despite its advantages, carbon sequestration comes with challenges such as high costs and infrastructure requirements. There is also a risk of CO₂ leakage from geological storage and potential environmental impacts, especially in ocean-based methods.
